Cornell University’s Human Design Innovations Lab (HDIL) is a multidisciplinary community of faculty, students, and community members committed to cutting-edge research on improving healthcare environments. HDIL is part of of the Design and Environmental Analysis Department in the College of Human Ecology.
What we do.
Health Design Innovations Lab members engage in applied research, collaborating with industry and community members in national and international projects. Our research focuses on approaches to the planning, design, and management of settings in order to promote human health and well-being.
